O-ring for modification of a 1/2″ compression fitting

O-ring manufactured in food grade silicone.

Suitable for temperatures between -50°C and +200°C

This o-ring allows the conical part of the compression fittings to be replaced and in this way have a solution that is adapted to frequent disassembly.  Adapted to the 1/2″ x 12mm compression fittings.

Procedure to follow (see before and after photos):

– remove the conical spacer and replace it with the o-ring

– turnaround the shouldered spacer

– re-assemble with moderate tightening
