Heating Element V2 2.5KW ULWD with mounting kit

The improved version of our heating element ULWD (Ultra Low Watt Density).

Always with the same technical qualities, but now with an over-sized flange with an o-ring groove supplied with a food safe silicone o-ring.  It is therefore only necessary to clamp up the element with a 1″ nut (not included) on the inside of the pot in order to ensure that the element is immediately water tight (the threading is still 1″ BSP and the hole in the pot is still 31.75mm).

In addition to this the element is supplied with a stainless housing to protect the wires.  This housing is also supplied with a cable gland in order to make the housing waterproof (suitable for cables from 6mm to 12mm). There is also now an earth screw directly on the rear of the element to make cabling even simpler.

Heating element ULWD  (Ultra Low Watt Density)  manufactured in 316 stainless type “fold-back”.

Developed length of the element approximately 1.22m which gives a very low watt density of around 8.15W/cm² in order to avoid scorching / caramelizing the wort during boiling.

Power rating of:

• 2500W à 230V (10.9A)

Length of 340mm.

Suitable for pots of 350mm in diameter or more.

Threading 1″ BSP also in 316 stainless (a notable difference compared to a lot of other heating elements).

All the metal components in 316 stainless steel.
